WHAT CAN BE DONE DURING THE MEDICARE OEP?

The Medicare Open Enrollment Period (MA-OEP) is a period, January 1 – March 31, during which an individual enrolled in an MA (Medicare Advantage) or MA-PD (Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug) plan can make a one-time change to another MA plan, elect Original Medicare, or can change their Part D coverage. Changes made during this period take effect the first of the month following the month you enroll.
